Black Label

Small coffees we can’t put on the regular shelf.

Black Label is where Troubadour releases tiny lots, unusual processes, and coffees that are simply too limited to share widely.

Next private release opens in about 48 hours.

The next release is not posted publicly yet. We announce Black Label coffees to the email list first, then open a short pre-order window while the lot lasts.

Why email? The quantities are small and the windows are short, so email is the cleanest way to let interested people know first.
What shows up here? Micro lots, rare processes, seasonal finds, and coffees that deserve a little more context than a shelf tag can give.
How it works When a Black Label coffee opens, subscribers get the details and pre-order link first. Some releases sell through before they go wider.
Previous releases

Small lots don’t tend to wait around.

Black Label releases are intentionally limited. Past lots have been offered as short pre-orders and then marked sold out once the coffee was spoken for. The next one stays quiet until the list hears first.

Sold out
Previous Black Label release A tiny lot offered first to the list as a short pre-order.
Sold out
Previous Black Label release A small coffee that moved through before it could live on the regular shelf.
Sold out
Previous Black Label release Another limited release shared with the people following along from the roastery.

A note from Tony: Some coffees are too small to make a lot of noise about. Black Label is our way of sharing those coffees with the people who like following what is happening at the roastery.
