Grower: Minondo Family

Grade: 1 SCA Micro-Lot

Isa Minondo and her family are a 4th generation coffee producers. Their farm called Santa Ines is located in Antigua, Guatemala. The farm sits at 1518 masl (5000 feet) near Vulcans Agua, Fuego and Acatenengo, is 49 hectares (about 122 acres) and is about 25 miles SW of Guatemala City.

Finca Santa Inés was originally part of Finca El Potrero and is located in the Panchoy Valley. Today it is known as Valle de Antigua. We had their coffee in 2017, 2019 and now in 2020.

Isa, dad Raul, aunt Eugena along with their manager Erick Jimenez and team are doing things perfectly! Micro lots generally score higher (86+), are cleaner in flavor and have more clarity. Included in their offerings in the near future will be honey process coffees and naturals! We are so looking forward to more great coffees such as these from great people!

They produce Tekesic, Caturra, Bourbon, Bourbon 300 and Gesha among other varietals. They also produce avocados to sell at the local market.
